Hotel Rooms for out of town seminar registrants

Hotel rooms in San Francisco are expensive.  Better hotel rates are sometimes possible if you belong to the American Automobile Association, and book using their discounted rates.  You do need to show your AAA card on check-in to confirm the AAA rate.

No discounted sleeping rooms have been provided by Le Meridien Hotel where the seminar will be held.  Rooms at Le Meridien are on the high side, especially if you need to start your stay mid-week.  Prices come down a wee bit if you only stay Thursday or Friday nights.

Hotels near Le Meridien include the Hyatt Regency and the Harbor Court Hotel.  A little father afield is the Hotel Union Square, which is more reasonably priced and is nicely situated in the heart of San Francisco on the Powell Street cable car line.  The Hotel Union Square is one "subway" stop or about a 15 minute walk to Le Meridien Hotel where the seminar will be held.
